The rapid & responsive evidence partnership supports 11 low income and poor countries for economic growth. The PREP is looking for senior program officer. Both male and females can apply. Only suitable candidates are encouraged to apply.
Duties:
Senior Program Officer report to the project director or leader and is responsible for the supervision of management, financial and technical tasks. The incumbent handles project plans, management, communications and technical supports as well.
Experiences/skills:
- Previous management and policy makers experience in government or private sector.
- Good management and analytical skills to handle projects.
- Basic computer knowledge including software’s
- Ability to work under pressure.
International Development Research Center Canada
IDRC is state owned federal government agency. It was established in 1970 through International Development Research Center act by the parliament.
It reports to the parliament through minister of international development. Its headquarters is situated in Ontario while it has four regional offices in India, Jordan, Uruguay and Kenya.
The purpose of starting this initiative is to encourage, analyze, research and support the developing areas to solve problems. It works for the social and economic development of those areas.
The IDRC also provide funds to reduce poverty in developing countries and main focus is to research in agriculture, environment, technology and innovation sectors for the progress of associated country members.
Selection procedure consists of Application process (complete application form), Test and Interview. Selected candidates will go through training.
