ISED is state owned department. It is also known as department of industry. Its vision is to support Canadian economy. ISED supports especially enterprise growth, trade and investment for the development in communities.
It has three basic duties. These responsibilities are Science, Technology related research: supervise the Canadian industry and investment as well as people, communities and skills.
