Duties:
The security coordinator is responsible for security and administration of agency. The senior analyst is responsible for analysis, research and coordination of clients with precinct as well as for development and progress.
Experiences/skills:
- Previous experiences in research and analysis for high level management.
- Basic computer skills with information management system software.
- Good communication and analytical skills
- Ability to handle pressure
About Parliamentary Protective Service
The Parliamentary Protective Service is part of parliament of Canada established by the parliament act in 2015. It provide physical protection to members, employees and property within crown land area.
The royal Canadian mounted police officer serve as a director of PPS and appointed by chairman of senate and house of commons as well. It ensures the security of employees, parliamentarians with their families as well as guests within crown land.
The agency is responsible to provide high level security to MP’s record and buildings while royal Canadian mounted police provide security protection to Canadian PM.
The director perform duties according to the policy plans and advice of the house of commons and senate speaker. All the security operations of PPS is supervised by the both speakers and the minister of public safety and emergency preparedness.
Selection procedure consists of Application process (complete application form), Test and Interview. Selected candidates will go through training.
