The science and technology museum is operated by Ingenium and provides help to the public to be aware of science and technological history. Currently it is hiring as social media officer.

Duties:
The social media officer is responsible research, analyze, develop and implement all possible media techniques to achieve departmental goals and museums publicity.
Experiences/skills:
- Previous experiences in marketing
- Basic computer knowledge with social media tools.
- Understanding of department rules and priorities.
- Ability to work under-pressure.
What is an Ingenium?
The Ingenium supervise the museums associated with agriculture and food, Aviation and space, science and technology. Its headquarters situated in Ontario. It works under the ministry of Canadian heritage
All these museums are also attached with Canadian heritage information network and Canadian museum association. It is an interesting to know that agency has only 300 employees to look after the these museums.
The department was created in 1990 when the museums act was passed by the parliament. The president and CEO leads the department while board of directors also provide suggestions.
An online web portal is also designed to share working documents and future plans. A TV film “how to build a museum for the 21st century” was also released in 2018.
Selection procedure consists of Application process (complete application form), Test and Interview. Selected candidates will go through training.
