Duties:
The coordinator is supervisor of research, implementation and development of program to guide navigators into a secure port. The incumbent is responsible to provide technical training to new users and also ensures that needed modifications are applied according to guidelines and procedures.

The Canadian coast guard works as a marine agency but has no law enforcement responsibilities. All the maritime issues are carried by royal navy and peace officers.
CCG serve as operational part of law enforcement agencies. The CCG ensures the security, safety and protection of seaman’s and environment.
