Canadian Nuclear Safety Commission
NSCS is federal regulator of nuclear energy and its materials. The nuclear safety commission supervise the nuclear energy use and its materials for heath safety and environmental protection.
The agency also oversee some other uses of nuclear energy like for the treatment of cancer, oil exploration and uranium refineries.
The agency ensures the protection of people and environment from missuses of radioactive elements. A license is provided at working sites after checking all the safety measures.
The CNCS is responsible for analyzing and implementing all international requirements related to nuclear activities. The commission also license for transportation of nuclear materials ,import, export, technology and equipment.
An independent environmental monitoring program was established by the commission. The basic vision to verify that environment and public are safe at licensed working sites.
Selection procedure consists of Application process (complete application form), Test and Interview. Selected candidates will go through training.
